NORWALK, Connecticut, USA (December 29, 2009) – HealthDay, a leading producer and syndicator of health news, is pleased to announce that its Director of Technology, Scott Roberts, has been recognized as one of the “Twenty Top Techies” by the Long Island Software and Technology Network (LISTnet).

"The Twenty Top Techies award is designed to celebrate those who work behind the scenes to develop information technology solutions," said Roberts. "I'm very proud to have received this prominent award from LISTnet." The award was presented to him at LISTnet’s annual ceremony on December 7, 2009 in recognition of his achievements in creating and delivering technology solutions to the health care news industry.

HealthDay delivers health news daily to several thousand Web sites and other destinations. “Scott is responsible for the smooth operation of our electronic feeds to customers and is charged with making sure that they not only receive the feeds properly, but on time. McKillen continues, “On top of all of those responsibilities, Scott also has editorial duties, including writing and editing articles on health care. He is the steady rock of our technical backbone and extremely valuable to the success and continued growth of our business.”
